He said <br />2 establishments have asked for this Ordinance in the past. <br />3 <br />4 Councihnember Stille asked if there is a limit in the Ordinance for 3.2 beer. Mr. Morrison said <br />5 there is not. <br />6 <br />7 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Horst, to approve the first <br />8 reading of Ordinance 05-014, re: An Amendment to Ordinance 1000.04 License Types to add a <br />9 Combination On -Sale Wine and 3.2 Malt Liquor License. <br />10 <br />I1 Motion carriedunanimously. <br />12 <br />13 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the first <br />14 reading of Ordinance 05-015; re: An Amendment to Ordinance 615.06 Other License Eces to <br />15 include the ['cc for the Combination. On -Sale Wine and 3.2 Malt Liquor License. <br />16 <br />1.7 Motion carried 1111animously. <br />18 <br />19 VII, I2EPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCI.I,MEMJIERS. <br />20 City Manager Morrison reported the following: <br />21 e October 12, Fire Station Open House <br />22 0 October 15, Silver Lakc Village Update <br />23 ® October 25, Council: <br />24 o Nextel Lease <br />25 o Fee Adjustment for Copy Charges <br />26 o Todd Hubmer to speak on the 2005 Street Project and the Lift Project <br />27 0 November 8 Council Start at 8:00 pm <br />28 o John Ohl first presentation as Police Chief and swearing in of new officers <br />29 o Phase 2 Silver Lake Village <br />30 o Canvass Election Results <br />31 a Joint Power Agreement with Ramsey County <br />32 ® Union Negotiations for all three unions currently underway; contracts expire this year <br />33 ® 2nd Storm Recap; there was incredible response from all Staff <br />34 0 Meeting with Congressman Sabo's Staff <br />35 <br />36 Councihnenrber'.Ilmesen reported that the Ramsey County Library'fask Force is starting to look <br />37 over the data collected by the task force. He reported they intend to send a recommendation this <br />38 month. He also thanked the Mayor for the work he did on the Joint Power of Agreement. He <br />39 thanked the staff for their response during the storms. <br />40 <br />41 Councilmember Gray had no report. <br />42 <br />43 Councilmember Horst had no report. <br />44 <br />45 Councilmember Stille said as the Parks Commission Liaison he attended the September 20 open <br />46 house. It was an open house for the residents in the area to get a feel for the possibilities and <br />47 voice their opinions. The architect took comments and intends to bring something back to the <br />9 <br />
