Specify the .full -and 'complete understanding of the parties; -and' : <br />•4, 'Place. in written.' form the parties''AGREEMENT upon terms and conditions of <br />: ern loymem�t for.the duration <br />-of the AGREEMENT. <br />The EMPLOYER and the UNION, through this AGREEMENT, continue .their dedication to the ' <br />highest quality of public service. : <br />ARTICLE 1:- RECOGNITION:. <br />.The EMPLOYER -recognizes the•,.UNION as' the •exclusive, represent a*tive 'in. matters* involvin <br />conditions,of employment of all essential employees of the City of St. -Anthony; Minnesota, who <br />are public employees within the -meaning.of Minn . stat. 179A.03, subd: 14, excluding supervisory <br />and. confidential .employees.' <br />ARTICLE 2. UNION SECURITY <br />In recognition of the ;UNION as the exclusive representative, the EMPLOYER -shall: <br />:1. Deduct. the first payday of each month an amount sufficient to provide the payment <br />of such: dues or fair share established by the UNION to be due and payable, and <br />2. Remit such deduction to the UNION at the earliest practicable date after collection. <br />3... :The`UNION may designate certain employees from the -bargaini.ngunit to act as <br />Ste vva.rds and shall inform the EMPLOYER in writing of such choice. <br />A. The'- UNION agree'sto indernn.ify and hold the EMPLOYED harmless a•ainst an <br />and- all claims, Suits, -orders or judgments brought or issued against the EMPLOYER <br />as 'a result,of any action taken or not taken under the provisions of this. Article. <br />ARTICLE 3. SENIORITY <br />New employees shall be an a'one {1}year probationary period. Annually,the EMIP�LOYER shall <br />furnish to- the UNION a; seniority..list of the: employees showing their respective dates'of hire. <br />There shall be one (1) master -seniority list per -classification established based on the employees <br />original. date.of hire. <br />
