The CBPU obtains $3 per month per -
customer for. the initial sale.
In addition, we expect that an increasing number of applications will evolve that
will advance revenue potential, public safety, and economic development
activities.
1.4 Action Steps
Our recommended next steps to advance the availability of services include:
• Consider installation of fiber (or empty conduit) whenever a street or right-
of-way dig occurs, regardless of whether Saint Anthony Village pursues a
wireless offering.
• Seek potential grant sources to assist in the implementation costs.
• Initiate discussion with surrounding communities to create a -wireless
consortium. Consider inclusion of St. Louis Park and their identified
partners.
• Consider use of city or other funding sources to supplement projected
revenue streams due to potential economic development, quality of life, and
other benefits.
1-6
62
WER. columw
ca mmun.-k-9k
