City of St. Anthony <br />Ordinance 06-001 <br />Section 3 - Personnel, Planning Commission & Public Safety <br />Section 300.05 Probationary Period. <br />Subd. 5 Leave Benefits.- During the initial probation period, but not during a <br />promotional probation period., employees will not be entitle to the use of personal time <br />off during the first six months of service. After six months of service., employees will be <br />entitled to the use of -personal time off. Personal Time Off will be accrued from the start <br />of the probationary employment. <br />Section 300.07 Compensation. <br />Subd. 2 Part-time Employees, Whenever an employee works for a period less than the <br />regularly established number of hours a day, days a week or weeks a month, the <br />amount shall bear a reasonable (but not necessary proportional) relationship to the full- <br />time service. Part-time employees are not entitled to personal time off, holidays with <br />pay or any other benefits., other than those benefits required under federal or state law. <br />Section 300.09 Personal Time Off With Pam <br />Subd. 1. Amount Allowed. Full time employees shall earn personal time off according <br />to the following schedule: <br />Hours Accrued Per Year <br />0-5 <br />5+ -14 years <br />15+ <br />176 hours <br />216 hours <br />256 hours <br />Employees using earned personal time off shall be considered to be working for the <br />purpose of accumulating additional personal time off. <br />Subd. 2. Usage. Personal time off may be used a s earned, subject to approval by the <br />Department Head and City Manager of the time at which it may be taken. <br />In order to allow coordination of personal time off with family and medical leave, <br />employees seeking to take personal time off may be required to provide enough <br />information about the purpose of the time off to allow a determination of whether the <br />time will also qualify for family and medical leave. If the personal time off also <br />qualifies for family and medical leave, the employee will take both simultaneously. <br />For all full time employees hired after January 1., 2004, the maximum personal time off <br />accrued shall not exceed 1,200 hours. <br />Subd. 3. Terminal Leave.
