The 2027 modeled volumes, with only one southbound through lane on Silver
Lake Road, show the following issues:
Vehicles will back up in the p.m. peak hour past the Wal-Mart access on
southbound Silver Lake Road.
Vehicles exiting the Wal-Mart parking lot onto Silver Lake Road will
experience significant delays because of the backup on Silver Lake Road.
Because of the delay, vehicles may exit the parking lot into the right lane on
Silver Lake Road and may merge/weave into the through and left -turn lanes
that already have a significant backup of vehicles. This may cause blocking
of the right -turn lane and will further degrade the operation of Silver Lake
Road
-wsWprojects\0I538-02\Trat%ie\HC SiIver (a CR D\060417`.Mcmo.doe
