Mr. Michael Mornson
Page 2
May 2, 2006
The local plumbing inspector, Devin White, did not move forward with approval of the
plumbing plans until he received notification from the State of Minnesota. As a result of
the delay, through the State of Minnesota, the entire process has been delayed five to six
weeks.
Before concrete floor could be laid, the inground plumbing had to be approved by Mr.
White. Therefore, the delay in the process of starting any interior construction was
delayed for that five to six week period.
Because of the delay, construction plans are thirty days delayed. Where the operator was
confident that this could be completed by the end of May, it now will be delayed until the
end of June. In any discussions with the operator, his plan is to have the Certificate of
Occupancy requested and completed by the end of June. He will then train his staff
following the 4"' of July with an anticipated opening date in the second week of July
2006.
As you will recall, receipt of the Certificate of Occupancy is the triggering event for
completion.
Pursuant to our telephone conversation, Paul Tucci and I would like to meet you and ,
discuss this matter on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 1:45. If this meets with your schedule,
please so advise me. I await your reply.
Since s,
Oster
RJr : dk
cc: P. Tucci
G. Petersen
