In the <br />$315,000 budget, ISD #282 subsidizes the city recreation program. approximately $90,000 <br />annually with our Community Education dollars because of how much the District values <br />and prioritizes this program and the services it provides to our stakeholders. <br />ISD #282 provides all city recreation programs and services for the Village. <br />ISD #282 schedules facility utilization for all district owned facilities, as well as all city <br />owned facilities (*Proposed that ISD #282 also schedules multi --purpose room and gym at <br />City Hall) <br />ISD #282 scheduled sites included in the $52,,000 partnership investment: <br />Programs that are supported through the $52,000 partnership investment include: <br />AN Senior Citizens <br />Year Round Youth Programs (after school and summer) <br />Soccer, tennis lessons, open gym, camps, ice skating, basketball, summer baseball, <br />karate, and gymnastics <br />Playgrounds & Rainbow Kids <br />Recreational activities for elementary/preschool-aged children: storytelling, music, <br />crafts, games, swimming, and special events <br />61 Because we know that recreation and leisure activities are essential to personal growth, positive <br />self-esteem, and relaxation and because our parks and recreation are an integral part of our <br />community identity, the $52,000 the.
