CITY OF ST., ANTHONY <br />Resolution 06-085 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO COMMUNITY SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony recognizes that <br />Community Services provide a variety of recreational opportunities <br />and senior citizen activities to community residents; and <br />WHEREAS, due to changes enacted by the Minnesota State Legislature, St. <br />Anthony -New Brighton School District #282 is no longer allowed to <br />levy $52,175 for the cost of operating Community Services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council supports recreational opportunities and senior <br />citizen activities for residents of the community and wishes <br />Community Services to continue to provide these services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. <br />Anthony hereby authorizes $52,175 to Community Services for 2007 and 2008. <br />Adopted this 14thday of November, 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Reviewed for Administration: <br />Mayor <br />City Manager <br />HCouncil Meetings\2006\11142006\rescommserv.doc <br />38 <br />
