This update will incorporate improvements to the <br />City's stormwater system which have been constructed in the last 10 years, as well as amend <br />ordinances and policies to reflect changes in Watershed District, Met Council, State, and Federal <br />water management requirements. This update will include a revised Capital Improvement Plan with <br />anticipated costs of future improvements and programs. <br />We propose to undertake the following tasks to update the City's Water Resource Management <br />Plan: <br />Task 1: Update the Analysis and Interpretation of Surface Water Data <br />The water resource data collected as part of the previously prepared Plan will be updated, <br />analyzed, interpreted and summarized in the Plan to provide the status and possible trends <br />concerning surface water resources within the City. This information will include the <br />following: <br />A. Update the Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling <br />• The existing hydrologic/hydraulic model for the City will be updated to take into <br />account the flood improvements and development of Silver Lake Village, which <br />have occurred since 1996. <br />• Recommendations outlining solutions to alleviate potential flood problems will <br />be prepared. <br />• Recommendations will be made for new ponding and stormwater treatment areas <br />where appropriate. <br />• Normal and 100 -year high water elevations will be updated and calculated for <br />designated ponding areas. <br />• The subwatershed delineation map will be updated showing subwatershed <br />delineations in conformance with the model and changes made to the City's <br />system over the previous 10 years. <br />Minneapolis 1 St. Cloud <br />Equal Opport3aty Employer K.101626-0014dm1nOoaILTR-CSMPUpdate-112006.doe <br />
