CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />RESOLUTION 06-095 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR POLICE <br />SERVICES WITH THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE WITH INCREASING THE <br />CONTRACT HOURS TO 24 FROM 16 HOURS WITH THE CONTINGENCY THAT <br />THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE APPROVES THE AMENDED JOINT POWERS <br />AGREEMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony and the City of Lauderdale entered into a joint <br />powers agreement whereby the City of St. Anthony agreed to provide 16 <br />hours of police service for the City of Lauderdale for the period 2007 <br />through 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lauderdale requests to amend the current joint powers <br />agreement to increase the police services to 24 hours from the original 16 <br />hours. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony approves the <br />addendum amending section III. SERVICES and section V. PAYMENT <br />FOR SERVCIES of the original joint powers agreement with the City of <br />Lauderdale dated 01/01/07 through 12/31/09. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: <br />1) This approval is contingent upon the City of Lauderdale approving the <br />addendum to the joint power agreement. <br />2) The 2007 General Fund Operating Fund Budget for revenues and <br />expenditures is amended/ increased by $250,200 to reflect the change in the <br />Lauderdale contract. <br />Adopted this 11f day of December, 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: <br />Mayor <br />City Manager <br />FACouncil Meetings\2006\12112006\LAUDERDALE RESOLUTION ADDENDUM.doc <br />44 <br />
