He commented code enforcement is under the purview of the Fire Department and it <br />is currently working on it. <br />Councilmember Thuesen asked if St. Anthony takes advantage of the pamphlets from the League <br />of Minnesota Cities. <br />City Manager Mornson replied he did not have knowledge of the pamphlets. He commented <br />everything is on the web these days. He stated the City should look at the options but be aware <br />that cost increases as other options are used. He explained Staff thought they should perhaps <br />look at the ordinance first and come back with changes and look at re -codification later. <br />Councilmember Thuesen commented that this would be on CD and asked how Staff currently <br />inputs information. IIe asked if it is currently easy and convenient to make changes in the <br />computer. <br />Mornson stated this would make it much easier. <br />Mayor Faust stated he did not want to get hung up on the methodology. He stated each <br />department head has a part in code enforcement. Iie asked everyone to determine what is <br />important and the most economical way to do it to City Manager Mornson. Mayor Faust <br />commented he did not see this as a fast track; however, there are items that need to be addressed <br />quickly to give Staff the power of enforcement. <br />REPORTS FROM CTTY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />City Manager Mornson stated staff is still looking for members for the Road Reconstruction <br />Task Force. He stated the applications are due on April 16. He commented the task force would <br />meet about our times between May and September. <br />City Manager Mornson reported a public hearing would be held on the 2008 Budget at the April <br />24, 2007 Council Meeting. <br />City Manager Mornson reported the audit is under way for 2006 and a presentation would be <br />given at the May 22, 2007 Council Meeting. <br />City Manager Mornson reported the 50 Years of Safety Expo would be held at City Hall on April <br />28, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. He mentioned the newsletter would go out early to let <br />people know about the Safety Expo. <br />
