Below,
please find a list and a brief update on the current status of projects within St. Anthony Village:
1. Water Meter Replacement/Foundation Drain Inspection Program
At the time of this letter, approximately 1,950 meters have been replaced and the first
appointment for all residential and commercial meters in the City has been completed. The
contractor is currently working on the remaining 430 meters, which are a combination of both
commercial and residential that have not responded to the initial mailings.
We have identified approximately 300 locations in St. Anthony where foundation drains have
been connected to the sanitary sewer. Upon completion of the project, we will provide a full
report to the Council on the status of foundation drains and I&I within the City.
The City's contractor for reading the meters, Sensus, has completed the installation of a
permanent location for its receiver atop the Pillsbury Tower in downtown Minneapolis. City
staff is currently reviewing the service contract for Sensus and anticipate the agreement will be
acceptable and recommended to the Council for signature in the very near future.
Il.
