City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />June 12, 2007 <br />Page 3 <br />available for meetings and the Village Pub plans to be an active participant in St. Anthony <br />community events. <br />4 Mr. Burstad explained the highlights of the new food and wine menus. Ile explained the <br />5 emphasis would be on homemade local grower entr6es, daily specials, and a change of menus <br />6 seasonally. He stated a professional photographer was hired to bring the village back into the <br />7 restaurant. <br />9 Mayor Faust expressed his appreciation to Mr. Poster and Mr. Burstad for agreeing to have a <br />10 public hearing. He commented this is a good opportunity for the City Council to inform the <br />11 community of the change in ownership and for the Village Pub to get the information out to the <br />12 residents. <br />13 <br />14 Mayor Faust closed the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br />15 <br />16 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Gray to approve Resolution <br />17 07-046, a Resolution Approving the Transfer of the Intoxicating Liquor License for St. Anthony <br />18 Restaurant Group, Inc., DBA The Village Pub, located at 2729 Highway 88. <br />19 <br />20 Motion approved unanimously 4/0. <br />21 <br />22 V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. <br />23 <br />24 None. <br />25 <br />26 VI. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF TIIE COUNCIL. <br />27 <br />28 A. City Engineer's Update <br />29 <br />30 Mr. Todd Hubmer, City Engineer/WSB & Associates, updated Council Members and the <br />31 audience on the 2007 Street Reconstruction Project, the Water Meter Replacement Program and <br />32 I&I Program, the Water Treatment Plant Improvements, the Silver Lake Road Project, and <br />33 County Road 88 Improvements. <br />34 <br />35 Mayor Faust asked Mr. Hubmer to discuss the cooperation received from local businesses. <br />36 <br />37 Mr. IIubmer replied that Berger Transfer is allowing the City to store equipment and materials <br />38 for the project in their storage facility. Ile commented that Berger Transfer is a great neighbor <br />39 and has helped Public Works on other projects in the past. He reported that St. Charles <br />40 I3orromeo Church has allowed the City to stockpile materials such as asphalt to reuse to rebuild <br />41 the road. Mr. Hubmer stated he looks forward to continuing the partnership with local <br />42 businesses. <br />43 <br />44 Mayor Faust stated it is important to recognize the businesses that help out with City Projects. <br />45 <br />16 <br />
