35 <br />Conditional Use Permits. Several business owners from the Shopping <br />Center were in attendance and voiced their concerns about the <br />proposed antenna and related equipment. <br />Conditions: <br />• All wireless telecommunications facilities (WTF) shall be concealed <br />or camouflaged in such a manner as to utilize materials, colors, <br />textures, screening and landscaping to blend in with the <br />surrounding setting and built environment. <br />• To the extent possible and as recommended by the Planning <br />Commission and approved by the City Council, screening will be <br />provided by'r-Mobile or its subcontractors for the antenna and <br />WTF. <br />• No signs, except warning or equipment information signs, will be <br />permitted on any portion of the WTF or other monopole antenna <br />related equipment. <br />• The proposed monopole antenna or WTF will not be illuminated by <br />artificial means and will not display strobe lights unless specifically <br />required by the Federal Aviation Administration or other federal or <br />state authority. <br />• Telecommunications companies and their equipment are regulated <br />by the federal government through the FCC.
