36 <br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 07-049 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR T -MOBILE <br />FOR A MONOPOLE CELL PHONE ANTENNA TO BE LOCATED AT <br />2900 PENTAGON DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Planning Commission held a public hearing on <br />June 19, 2007 regarding a monopole cell phone antenna to be located at <br />2900 Pentagon Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff received no objections to the proposed CUP prior to the meeting <br />from the neighboring businesses or adjacent single family residential <br />zoning districts; and <br />WHEREAS, there were several business owners from the shopping center in <br />attendance and voiced their concerns regarding the proposed antenna and <br />related equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the planning commission recommended approval of the Conditional Use <br />Permit for T -Mobile for a monopole cell phone antenna to be located at <br />2900 Pentagon Drive with the following conditions: <br />• All wireless telecommunications facilities (WIT) shall be concealed or <br />camouflaged in such a mamler as to utilize materials, colors, textures, <br />screening and landscaping to blend in with the surrounding setting and <br />built environment; and <br />• To the extent possible and as recommended by the Planning Commission <br />and approved by the City Council, screening will be provided by T - <br />Mobile or its subcontractors for the antenna and WTF; and <br />• No signs, except warning or equipment information signs, will be <br />permitted on any portion of the WTF or other monopole antenna related <br />equipment; and <br />• The proposed monopole antenna or WTF will not be illuminated by <br />artificial means and will not display strobe lights unless specifically <br />Z:ACouncil Meetmgs\2007A062607Ares 6nobile.doc <br />
