Open Flame and Fuel Storage Prohibited. <br />Subd. 1. Open Flame Prohibited. In any structure containing three or more dwelling units, no <br />person shall kindle, maintain, or cause any fire or open flame on any balcony above ground <br />level, or on any ground floor patio within 15 feet (4572 mm) of the structure. <br />Subd. 2. Fuel Storage Prohibited. No person shall store or use any jael, barbeque, torch or <br />other similar hearing or lighting chemical in the locations designed in Subd. 1. <br />1325.13 Permits Required. No person may, without first making application for (on forms <br />provided from the City), and obtaining, a permit; maintain, store or handle materials or conduct, <br />process or install equipment when a permit is required by the MUFC MSFC for any such <br />activity. A fee, periodically determined by resolution of the Council, must be paid for each <br />permit in accordance with the conditions set forth in the MLS MSFC. All permits will may be <br />issued for a period of up to one year, but may be renewed annually if the applicant meets the <br />requirements of the T dFC MSFC. The Office of Fire Marshal may revoke a permit or approval <br />issued if any violation of the Code is found upon inspection, or if there has been any false <br />statement or misrepresentation as to a material fact in the application or plans on which the <br />permit or approval was granted. <br />1325.14 Appeals. If the Fire Marshal disapproves an application or refuses to grant a permit <br />applied for, or revokes a permit, or when it is claimed that the provisions of any part of the Code <br />do not apply, or that the true intent and meaning of the Code have been misconstrued or wrongly <br />interpreted, the person or persons aggrieved may appeal the decision of the Fire Marshal to the <br />City Council within 30 days after the date of the decision. <br />1325.15 MonitorinkofFire Protection Equipment. Fire alarm systems and bells controlling the <br />water supply and water flow switches on automatic sprinkler systems shall be electronically <br />monitored by an approved central station service in accordance to this section. <br />Subd. 1. Application of requirements. This section shall apply to the following. <br />(a) New fire alarm systems. <br />(b) Existing fire alarm systems when upgrades or expanded <br />(c) New sprinkler systems with 20 or more sprinkler heads. <br />
