20 <br />May 13, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br />To participate as a part of more than one of the urban counties in which it is partially <br />located provided that a single portion of the split place cannot be included in more <br />than one entitled urban county at a time, and all parts of the split place are included <br />in the urban counties. <br />As a community participating in the Urban Hennepin County Program, your city would not <br />be eligible in FY 2009 — 2011 to apply for grants under the small cities or state CDBG <br />programs. Your community will automatically participate in the Hennepin County HOME <br />Program and will not be eligible to receive HOME funds through the state or other <br />consortiums. <br />Cities electing not to continue participation in the Hennepin County Program during the FY <br />2009-2011 qualification period must notify Hennepin County and HUD in writing <br />terminating the agreement at the end of the current period. (HUD contact: Elizabeth Wise, <br />920 Second Avenue South, Suite 1300, Minneapolis, MN 55402) This notification must be <br />received by May 23, 2008. <br />Please execute the city signature page of agreement to indicate your continued participation <br />in the Urban County Program. Return only an original copy of the city signature page <br />(please use blue ink) with the city seal and it copy of the authorizing resolution by ,Imre <br />30, 2008. A sample council resolution is enclosed.
