City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />May 27, 2008 <br />Page 3 <br />Assessment of Residential Parcels on Municipal Street Aid Routes at a Level Not to Exceed the <br />Cost to Construct Local Interior Streets and Other Minor Amendments. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />B. City Engineer Update. <br />8 Todd Hubmer, City Engineer, stated the 2007 street reconstruction project has been completed <br />9 with some punch list items remaining. <br />10 <br />11 Mr. Hubmer advised that the Silver Lake Road reconstruction has begun and they were currently <br />12 working on the utilities. <br />13 <br />14 Mr. Hubmcr stated the backwash water reuse facility was out for bid. <br />15 <br />16 Mr. Hubmer explained they were currently working on the Capital Improvement Plan. <br />17 <br />18 C. Consider Ordinance 08-005; Chanter 9 — Parking During.Snow Removal (Final Reading, <br />19 <br />20 City Manager Morrison reviewed the resolution with the Council and stated this was the third <br />21 and final reading. He noted it results in a change to the City ordinance on parking during snow <br />22 removal to make it less restrictive. He reviewed the Ordinance. <br />23 <br />24 Councilmember Gray asked if there had been any additional concerns added. City Manager <br />25 Morrison responded he had received one additional complaint, so there were a total of four <br />26 complaints received. <br />27 <br />28 Motion by Councilmember Roth, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approval Final Reading <br />29 and adopt Ordinance 08-005; Chapter 9 — Parking During Snow Removal. <br />30 <br />31 Councilmember Stille stated he was voting against this because he believed it would be difficult <br />32 to change back after the sunset expired. He noted it was not broken and he did not believe it <br />33 needed to be fixed. <br />34 <br />35 Ayes — 4, Nay —1 (Stille). Motion carried. <br />36 <br />37 D. Consider Resolution 08-037; Proposal for Facility Assessment Services from Sebesta <br />38 Blomberg and Associates, Inc. with the funding source for this project being HRA <br />39 Projects Fund #31. <br />40 <br />41 City Manager Morison reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated that Sebesta <br />42 Blomberg & Associates will provide a building assessment for the City on the Community <br />43 Center Building. Any items that require competitive bidding, a specification sheet would be <br />44 developed by Sebesta Blomberg much like a specification sheet for a road project that WSB <br />45 completes for the City. <br />46 <br />3 <br />
