ANTHONY VILLAGE, <br />RESOLUTION 08-046 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMITFOR <br />TWIN CI'T'IES CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY, 2500 IIWY 88, <br />NORTHGA'a,, BUSINESS CENT'FR <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Julius Chu is a member of the Twin Cities Christian Assembly that is <br />located at 2500 1 ighway 88, Northgate Business Office; and <br />WHEREAS, Twin Cities Christian Assembly has been renting space at the Northgate <br />Business Center since July 2006; and <br />WI IJ?REAS, "Twin Cities Christian Assembly contacted the Fire Department for au <br />Occupancy Certificate, at which tithe they were informed that they may also <br />need a Conditional Use Permit; and <br />WI IFREAS, Mr. Chu contacted City Staff to apply for a Conditional tJsc Permit and <br />scheduled a Concept Review before the Planning Commission; and <br />WIILREAS, A Public Hearing was held at the regularly scheduled .Iuly15, 2008 Planning <br />Commission meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, No one appeared before the Planning Commission in opposition to the <br />application for the Conditional Use Permit for the T win Cities Christian <br />Assembly. Staff reported that no calls or letters had been received in <br />opposition to the CUP application; and <br />WHEREAS, The Police ;Department had received no complaints regarding any of the <br />activities of the Twin Cities Christian Assembly; <br />WHEREAS, The Planning Commission found that the hours of operation were not <br />disruptive and parking for the members was sufficient; and <br />WHEREAS, The Planning Commission determined that the Twin Cities Christian <br />Assembly's use at the subject location met the criteria as specified in the <br />City Code's Zoning Ordinance: <br />The requested conditional use is one of the Permitted <br />Conditional Uses specifically listed for the zoning district. <br />2. That the requested conditional use permit will not be detrimental <br />to health, safety, or general welfare of persons residing or <br />working in the vicinity or injurious to property values or <br />improvements in the area. <br />
