25 <br />Law Analysis: <br />Minnesota State Statute 347.51 Dangerous Dogs. Subdivision 5 — Exemptions. Dogs <br />may not be declared dangerous if the threat, injury, or damage was sustained by a person; <br />(1) who was committing, at the time, a willful trespass or other tort upon the premises <br />occupied by the owner of the dog. <br />In Summary: <br />Two police reports were taken that resulted in parties trying to extort money for what is <br />better referred to as hush money. <br />05/18/07 — Oldre asked for five hundred dollars. <br />11/16/07 —'Cowie asked for fifteen hundred dollars, and brought on a frivolous lawsuit <br />that since has been dropped, due in fact to no evidence. <br />06/26/08 — An individual who is scared of dogs violates City Ordinance for solicitation <br />after being told not to go in the yard, resulting in injury. <br />Based on State Statute Guido cannot be considered "dangerous" and should be allowed in <br />the City of St. Anthony. <br />In conclusion at this point under State Law Guido has not fit the criteria as "dangerous" <br />in all of the police reports. <br />
