44
Courtney Cox
3923 Foss Rd Y1206
St. Anthony, MN 55421
218-209-7701
02/14/09
To Whom It May Concern:
Please consider this letter at the February 24°i hearing on 2009 street and utility
improvements.
I am writing this letter on behalf of my family since we are unable to attend the February
24"' meeting. We own condominium unit 206 at 3923 Foss Rd and have received the
notice that we will have to pay nearly one thousand dollars towards street repairs if the
city goes forward with these improvements. I would like to express my strong concern
regarding this plan. My family and I are currently unable to pay our mortgage and are
desperately trying to avoid foreclosure. I know there are others in our very own building
who are in difficult situations as well. There is absolutely no way that we can afford to
pay nearly one thousand dollars for street repairs when we can't even pay our mortgage
and are trying to keep food on the table. I am a stay-at-home mom to my 6 -month old and
my husband is currently going to school and looking for ajob. We have no savings and
we cannot afford to pay off any of our debts and several of our bills. Staying off the
streets is our main priority, not paying large amounts of money we don't have to have our
streets repaired. Everyone knows the financial crisis this country is in. This is simply not
the time to put such an enormous burden on the residents of this area. I can't put into
words how detrimental this would be for my fancily.
Thank you for your consideration,
Courtney Cox
