CITY OF ST. ANTHONY AND ST. ANTHONY/ <br />NEW BRIGHTON SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 282 <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony (the City) and the St. Anthony/New Brighton Independent <br />School District No. 282 (ISD #282), desire to perform their elections in odd <br />numbered years; and <br />WHEREAS, the "City" and ISD 4282 will combine elections of the City Council and School <br />Board and to hold said combined elections on the First Tuesday after the first <br />Monday in November. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in 2009: <br />1) the City Clerk will conduct all local General Elections; <br />3) voting equipment, responsible by the City, will be used; <br />4) the School District will reimburse the City 50% of the total non -fixed costs associated with <br />the election. Future local elections will be negotiated when appropriate; <br />5) the City will pay the full cost of any local General Elections for which ISD #282 has no <br />item on the ballot; <br />6) ISD #282 will hold harmless the City in the conduct of elections. <br />CITY OF ST.
