14 <br />STAFF REPORT <br />DATE: September 8, 2009 <br />TO: Mike Mornson, City Manager <br />FROM: John Ohl, Chief of Police <br />SUBJECT: 2009110 Safe and Sober Grant <br />The police department, once again, has the opportunity to partner with the State and Ramsey <br />County on a Safe and Sober Grant. St. Anthony's portion of the grant will be $29,000, which is <br />specifically earmarked for traffic enforcement concentrating on impaired driving. <br />Part of the grant requirement is to formally accept the grant proposal by council resolution. <br />This has been a good partnership, and has helped the St. Anthony Police Department with our <br />public safety goals. This will be our forth year participating with the Safe and Sober Program. <br />
