A. <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: Ordinance 2009-004; Text Amendment to Title XV; Section <br />155 Signs; Allowing Temporary Signs to be Displayed on <br />Fences in the Recreational Open Space Athletic Outfields <br />MANAGER'S REVIEW: <br />The City Council heard the first reading of this ordinance amendment at the May 26, 2009 City <br />Council meeting. From that meeting the following changes have been made: <br />• (3) The signs can only be displayed in the confines of Palm Field. <br />s (5) Limited to a maximum of eight (8) signs will only be allowed on the outfield fence <br />between the foul poles of Palm Field. <br />• (6) The Signs can only be displayed from April 1st to July 31st <br />Also, enclosed is the information from the previous council packet for your review. <br />In addition, on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, Eric Brever of Foster & Brever submitted a letter to request a <br />tabling of the proposed amendment until a future date. The City Attorney advised that this is ok <br />to do but requested that we set a date on when the second reading should occur so it's not just <br />sitting out there for future councils to attempt to interpret.
