Resolution 09-095; Ratifying the 2010 Agreement between the City of St Anthony and <br />International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49 AFL-CIO Representingthe he St <br />Anthony Public Works Department <br />City Manager Mornson provided an overview of Resolution No. 09-095. The contract as <br />presented agrees to the following increases for 2010: Wages — 0%; Insurance - $100 increase for <br />family coverage; Uniform Allowance — 0% increase. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, to adopt Resolution 09- <br />095; Ratifying the 2010 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony and International Union of <br />Operating Engineers, Local 49, AFL-CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works <br />Department. <br />Motion carried unanimously, <br />Mayor Faust requested City Manager Mornson to pass on appreciation on behalf of the residents <br />and City Council to the above unions for their diligence in contract negotiations during the <br />current economic conditions. <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL. MEMBERS. <br />City Manager Mornson indicated that the December 22, 2009 regular City Council meeting is <br />not required if Council wishes to cancel the meeting. <br />Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to cancel the December <br />22, 2009 City Council meeting. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />City Manager Momson reported on the following: <br />Thank you to the union stewards for their representation of the City during contract <br />negotiations. He noted many cities are offering zero increases, which a lot of unions have <br />not agreed. <br />Thank you to Cable Operator, Kiel Rushton for his service. Tonight will be his last <br />meeting. <br />He will begin his fourth year working with the Junior Achievement Program in the <br />spring. <br />City Manager Momson thanked Brian Thuesen for his 12 years of dedicated service on the City <br />Council. He stated Brian has taken a lot of time to know staff, and to know and study the issues. <br />He has been fair, consistent and dependable, and a great council member. <br />M <br />
