REPORTS I+ROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL. MEMBERS. <br />City Manager Morrison reported on the following: <br />• The City Council may wish to make a decision at the November 23`d or December 14°i <br />City Council meeting on whether to cancel the December 28, 2010 City Council meeting. <br />• Applications are being accepted for openings on the Park and Planning Commissions. <br />• Contract negotiations are in progress with Public Works, Police Department, and Fire <br />Department unions. <br />• Seminar put on by Springsted Thursday that focused on the state of the economy and <br />tools that are available for redevelopment. <br />• Notification has been received that the MPCA has suspended work on the environmental <br />review and permitting of the Bituminous Roadways Roseville project as a result of a <br />recent amendment to the Roseville land use ordinance. <br />• Congratulations to Police Chief Ohl and Fire Chief Malenick for the success of the <br />departments in obtaining grants. <br />Mayor Faust noted the importance of the City Council, staff and residents in remaining aware of <br />the Bituminous Roadways Roseville project in case it conics forward again in the future. <br />Councilmember Stille: No report. <br />Councilmember Gray: No report. <br />Councilmember Jenson reported on his involvement with the Kiwanis stuffing advertising <br />pamphlets regarding the St. Anthony Middle School Builders Club. The Builders Club is a <br />group of 6°i — 8d' grade students with a mission to serve their community. <br />Councilmember Roth: No report. <br />Mayor Faust reported on the following: <br />• His attendance at the October 27, 2010 Middle Mississippi Watershed Management <br />Organization (MWMO) Executive Board meeting to prepare for today's MWMO <br />mecting and preparation of the organization's "third Generation Plan.
