ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JANUARY 8, 2013 <br />CALL TO ORDER. <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL. <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Councihnembers Gray, Jenson, Roth, and Stille. <br />Absent: None. <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey and Police Chief John Ohl. <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS. <br />L APPROVAL OF JANUARY 8, 2013, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />Council Meeting Agenda of January 8, 2013. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />A. Swearing in of Officer Joseph Kauser. <br />Police Chief Ohl thanked the City Council for allowing him to continue the tradition of swearing <br />in the City's Police Officers in front of the City Council. He stated Officer Kauser pursued his <br />criminaljustice degree at Mankato State and became eligible for his peace officer license in 2010 <br />and was selected among 150 applicants for the position in the Police Department. <br />Mayor Faust performed the swearing in of Police Officer Joseph Kauser and welcomed him to <br />the Police Department. <br />III. CONSENT AGENDA. <br />A. Consider December 11, 2012, Council meeting minutes; <br />B. Consider licenses and permits, <br />C. Consider payment of claims; <br />D. Housekeeping Resolutions: <br />Consider Resolution 13-001; Designating Mayor Pro Tem for the Calendar Year 2013, <br />Consider Resolution 13-002; Specifying Persons Authorized to Make Certain Financial <br />Transactions Regarding City Financial Accounts; <br />1 <br />
