He expressed the City Council's thanks to the Finance Department staff for <br />their ongoing help and willingness to change with the times. <br />REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />City Manager Casey reported that Hennepin County is planning a mill and overlay on Kenzie <br />Terrace from Stinson to 88 and Ramsey County is planning a mill and overlay on County Road <br />C from Long Lake Road to 88. He stated both projects would take place over the summer <br />months at no cost to the City. He noted that the County Road C road reconstruction project will <br />take place in a couple of years and the City will discuss the coordination of the drainage project <br />and other issues with the County Commissioners prior to reconstruction. <br />Councilmember Roth -no report. <br />Council member Stille -no report. <br />Councilmember Gray reported on his attendance at the April 3,d North Suburban <br />Communications Commission meeting and reminded residents that the deadline for submitting <br />applications to the Comcast scholarship program is Friday, April II th, at 4:00 p.m. He stated the <br />scholarship program is open to residents of the ten member cities and is available for students <br />who have completed one year of post secondary education. He stated that information is <br />available at www.ctvI5.orgaswell as on the City 's website. He also advised that a public <br />hearing is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 th , at 6:30 p.m . at Shoreview City Hall to consider the <br />rranchise agreement proposal by Comcast. <br />Council member Jenson reported on his attendance at the March 27th strategic planning session <br />with District #282 and stated the next planning session is scheduled for April 10 th at 6:00 p .m.
