ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />APRIL 22, 2025 <br />I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />Mayor Wendy Webster called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Mayor Wendy Webster invited the Council and audience to join her in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />III. ROLL CALL. <br />Present: Mayor Webster, Councilmembers Doolan, Elnagdy, Jenson, and Randle. <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: City Manager Charlie Yunker, Assistant City Manager Ashley Morello, WSB Project <br />Manager Katie Koscielak, City Engineer Justin Messner, Finance Director Deborah <br />Maloney, City Planner Steve Grittman, and City Code Official Richard Sonterre. <br />Others Present: Representative Ilhan Omar and St. Anthony Sister City Organization President Ruth <br />Ann Marks. <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE <br />FOLLOWING ITEMS. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF APRIL 22, 2025 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Motion by Councilmember Doolan, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />Council Meeting Agenda of April 22, 2025, as presented. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />V. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />A. Representative Ilhan Omar. <br />Congresswoman Omar provided an update. She invited anyone to reach out to her office with <br />questions and concerns. She spoke about the recent budget decisions, tax cuts, reduction in social <br />programs, loss of Federal funding in Minnesota, Social Security changes, and community <br />funding from her office. Her office is St. Anthony's liaison to the Federal Government. <br />Councilmember Elnagdy stated she appreciates the information. Congresswoman Omar invited <br />residents to subscribe to her newsletter. <br />B. Salo, Finland Day Proclamation. <br />
