Motion carried
unanimously.
Councilmember Ciernia withdrew his request to discuss park dedication
fees because of the complicated nature of the matter. He feels that
with regard to the planned subdivision, he would prefer park dedication
in the form of cash. There are constraints on what can be done with
cash park dedications. They can only be used for the same purpose as
the land is used for--to purchase park land or acquire land. As far
as implementation, the. ordinances are inadequate in dealing with park
dedication so there are procedural difficulties in how to proceed.
State law provides that a new ordinance would have to be written and
incorporated into the new zoning ordinance. Clerk Administrator
PRESENT
ABSENT
CONSENT AGENDA
APPROVED
MINUTES OF
MAY 12, 1982
APPROVED
PARY. DEDICATION
