MINUTEG <br />REGULAR CITY CUUPdCIL I~IEETIidG <br />MARCIi 28, 1979 <br />A'regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, IvicGough and Brown. Also PRESENT <br />present were Clerk Administrator Barnes and Engineer Cook. Council- <br />member Steele arrived at 8:l~5. <br />None. <br />ABSENT <br />~~ <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember Black, ~.o CONSENT AGENDA <br />approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Upon a vote being taken <br />the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, CounciLneanbers Black, <br />McGough and Brown, and the following; voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />~1. Liquor Store Financial Report February, 1979 <br />Mayor Warkentien acknowledged the arrival of Bruce Kurtz, Ramsey High <br />School and Kevin Faulds, Kellogg High School, who came to observe the <br />Council Meeting. <br />Fire Chief Jerry Renchin appeared before Council to inform them that FIRE CHIEF <br />Fireman Jim Fuller will go to Orlando, Florida to pick up the new RENCHIN <br />ambulance. He will leave Florida April 10 and should arrive in Falcon AMBULANCE UPDATE <br />Heights on April 111, 1979. The old fire truck will be stored at the <br />State Fairgrounds for a few months in order to make space for the <br />ambulance. Fire Chief Renchin also informed that he received a letter <br />from Ramsey County Community Health advising they will give $3,100.00 <br />for the necessary communication equipment and the order for the equip- <br />ment has already been placed. <br />Chief Renchin requested that Rescue be called first for emergencies, <br />then the Deputy, as was done in the past, as he feels it would shorten <br />the time for Rescue to reach the emergency. <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that the <br />emergency call system revert back to the old policy of dispatching Fire <br />and Rescue first and then the Deputy an that Clerk Administrator Barnes <br /> <br />
