MINUTES ~ ~~.~ <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 28, 1979 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon heights City Council was called to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Warkentien. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers :;rown and Stone. Also present PRESENT <br />was Clerk Administrator Barnes. <br />None. Councilmember Steele arrived rit 7:3R p.m. ABSENT <br />Councilmember Stone moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that the CONSENT AGENDA <br />Consent Agenda be approved as corrected. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVED <br />T. Fire and Rescue Reports ~~09279 - ~~09579 ' <br />2. General Payroll 11/1/79-11./15/79 $3,737.42 <br />3. Liquor Store Payroll 11/1/79-11/15/79 $1.882.11 <br />4. General Disbursements 11/8/79-11/28/79 $66,367.08 <br />Sinking Fund 6/1/74 Park Improvement Bonds $2,295.00 <br />5. Licenses: <br />General Corporate ~~613 - Christmas 'free Sales <br />Conklin Tree Farms <br />1523 Branston St. <br />St. Paul, MN <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember Stone to approve the MINUTES OF <br />Minutes of November 7, 1979 as presented. Motion carried unanimously. NOV. 7, 1979 <br />Mayor Warkentien read & request from the Human Rights Commission asking DOROTHY BARNEY <br />that Dorothy Barney be authorized to attend a seminar on the handicapped TO ATTEND <br />in Rochester, Minnesota, on behalf of the Human Rights Commission - the HANDICAPPED <br />cost to be $10.00 for registration plus mileage and meals, if any. Council- SEMINAR <br />member Brown moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien that the request be granted. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Steele arrives. <br />__- __..- .__. ___ _ COUNCILMEMBER <br />STEELE ARRIVES <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes informed Council that the warranty has expired <br />on the IBM typewriter in the City Office and that after checking into SERVICE AGREE- <br />the matter he felt it would be wise to enter into a service agreement with MENT ON IBM <br />IBM. Councilmember Stone moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown to author- TYPEWRITER <br />ize Clerk Administrator Barnes to enter into a service agreement with IBM <br />for a one year period at a cost of $71.50. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
