n; <br />MINUTES ~ <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 22, 1980 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Brown, Eggert and Larson. Also present PRESENT <br />were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Van de North and Engineer <br />Lemberg. <br />Councilmember Steele. ABSENT <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson that the CONSENT AGENT <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVED <br />1. Ramsey County Sheriff's Report, September, 1980 <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson that the MINUTES OF <br />Minutes of October 8, 1980 be approved as corrected. Motion carried OCTOBER 8, <br />unanimously. 1980 APPROVEf <br />Mayor Warkentien presented a letter from Edwin_L. Schmidt,: 1746 N. E.L. SCHMIDT <br />Albert, requesting Council reconsider the request for a variance 1746 ALBERT <br />to build a utility shed 3 feet from the south property line. (The VARIANCE <br />variance had been denied at the October 8, 1980 meeting.) A short GRANTED <br />discussion ensued after which Councilmember Larson moved, seconded <br />by Mayor Warkentien that the variance be granted allowing the shed <br />to be constructed 3 feet from the lot line. Motion carried unani- <br />mously. <br />~, Clerk Administrator Barnes informed Council that the LeTourneau- LETOURNEAU- <br />Shafers are now parking on a side yard after they had been given SHAPER, 1816 <br />permission to enlarge the driveway for additional parking. He ARONA, SIDE <br />also informed that they did not apply for a building permit and YARD PARKING <br />
