CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING 3 <br />• MINUTES OF JANUARY 14, 1998 <br />Mayor Gehrz convened the meeting at 7:03 p.m. <br />PRESENT <br />Gehrz, Hustad, Gibson Talbot, and Jacobs. Also present were Hoyt, Asleson, and Knutson. <br />ABSENT <br />Kuettel. <br />COMMUNITY FORUM <br />There was no one wishing to take advantage of the community forum. <br />MINUTES OF DECEMBER 17, 1997 <br />Minutes were approved by unanimous consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Councilmember Hustad moved to approve the following consent agenda. Approval of payments #2 and #3 to Killmer Electric <br />POLICY AGENDA <br />APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM TO THE LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH ST. PAUL FIRE <br />REGARDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PHASE 3 OF THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES PLAN RESPONSE IN FALCON HEIGHTS AND LAUDERDALE <br />Administrator Hoyt reported that the council is asked to accept an addendum to the letter <br />of agreement with St. Paul Fire. The addendum states that Falcon Heights would respond <br />• to Basic Life Support (BLS) incidents, carbon monoxide incidents with symptoms, and auto <br />accidents with injuries in both Falcon Heights and Lauderdale. St. Paul Fire will respond to <br />all Advanced Life Support (ALS) incidents in both cities and will respond to BLS incidents <br />if Falcon Heights is unable to respond in a timely way. The dispatcher will determine at <br />the point of the 9-1-1 call if a BLS or ALS response is appropriate. Hoyt also reviewed the <br />
