These
changes are primarily intended to clarify confusing sections and to strike sections that
conflict with other parts of the code. The only two new requirements are a provision
requiring the replacement garage when an existing garage is converted to living space
and a prohibition on new street curb cuts to properties that have garage access from
their alley.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on the amendments on February 26,
1996. There were no members of the public in attendance to comment on the
changes.
Motion was made by Councilmember Jacobs to approve Ordinance 96-01 and
Resolution 96-04.
