1 <br />~', <br />~~ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 29, 1975 <br />1 46 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called <br />to order by Acting Mayor Black at 7:00 p.m. <br />Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund and Labalestra. Also <br />present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg, and <br />Attorney Kenefick. <br />Mayor Warkentien and Councilman Steele. <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Black to APPROVAL OF <br />approve the minutes of the regular meeting of December ll, 1975, MINUTES: <br />as submitted. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": DECEMBER 11, <br />Acting Ma~ror Black, Councilmen Ecklund and Labalestra, and the 1975 <br />following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Labalestra LICENSE #333 <br />to approve License #333 to sell Christmas Trees for the Falcon RO SELL <br />Heights United Church of Christ. Upon a vote bed.ng taken, the CHRISTMAS <br />following voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund TREES <br />and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Councilman Black <br />to approve the following increases in salaries, effective <br />January 1, 1976, for Liquor Store employees: <br />LIQUOR STORE <br />EMPLOYEES <br />SALARIES FOR <br />1976 <br />George J. Willkom, Manager: $30 per month to $1280 per month; <br />John Sosniecki, Assistant Manager: <br />$!~0 per month to $772 per month; <br />carried. <br />and to raise the salary ceiling for stockboys to $2.60 per hour <br />and that of cashiers to $3.00 per hour, with the increase not to <br />exceed $150 total per month, and further that on June 1, 1976, <br />the manager and assistant manager's salaries be reviewed, subject <br />to further action at that time. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund <br />and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />Councilman Labalestra reviewed a job description submitted by <br />the Liquor Store Manager, George Willkom. Councilman Black <br />asked that this item be placed on the agenda for the meeting <br />of January 8, 1976, in order that all the Council would be <br />able to review it. <br />Councilman Labalestra reviewed the Municipal Liquor Fund <br />Statemaent of Income and Expense for the month of November. <br />He noted there would be an interest payment due February 1, <br />1976, in the amount of $2,807.,50, and a principal and <br />interest payment due, August 1, 1976, in the amount of <br />$7,807.50, on the Revenue Bond Issue. <br />LIQUOR STORE <br />MANAGER'S JOB <br />DESCRIPTION <br />NOVEMBER PROFIT <br />AND LOSS STATE- <br />MENT: LIQUOR <br />STORE <br />
