izy <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 10, 1976 <br />1 <br />1 <br />A special meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra. PRESENT <br />Also present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Leaaberg and <br />Attorney Kenefick. <br />None. ABSENT <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to approve APPROVAL OF <br />the minutes of October 28, 1976, as corrected. Upon a vote being MINUTES OF <br />taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, OCTOBER 28, 1976 <br />Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Councilman Steele to <br />approve the ite:as on the Consent Agenda as follows: <br />1. Basic Field Incident Reports, Nos. 85 and 86. <br />2. Basic Casualty Report, No. 81~. <br />3. Building Inspector's Report, October, 1976. <br />t~. Approval of Licenses <br />A. Sale of Christmas Trees <br />#3bo Hermes Floral Compar~r <br />2001 Larpenteur Avenue W. <br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota 55113 <br />1 <br />5. General disbursements in the amount of $12,106.18. <br />6. Liquor disbursements in the amount of $7,892.7l~. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilman Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following <br />voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />APPROVAL OF CON- <br />SENT AGENDA <br />Councilman Steele expressed concern that the minutes of October 28, CITY POLICY ON <br />1976, meeting did not reflect the Council's position on expending PRIVATE PROP- <br />public funds for work done on private property. Council concurred that ERTY WORK DONE <br />under no circumstances should the City give approval to citizens who BY CITY CON- <br />wish to utilize the services of the contractor hired by the City for TRACTORS --- <br />accomplishing apublic project. If private citizens wish to have work STEELS <br />done on their private property by the contactor for the City, they must <br />enter into an individual contract with the contractor. <br />
