MINUTES <br />REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 9, 1976 <br />r~ <br />1 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra. Also <br />present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney <br />Skor. <br />None. <br />/ ~~' <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to approve, APPROVAL OF <br />as corrected, the minutes of November 23, 1976. Upon a vote being taken MINUTES OF <br />the following voted ''aye": Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra NOVEMBER 23, <br />and the following voted "nay": None. Mayor Warkentien abstained as he was 1976. <br />not at tdle November 23rd meeting. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Councilman Black to approve the APPROVAL OF <br />items on the Consent Agenda as follows: CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />1. Basic Casualty Report, No. 9l~. <br />2. .Building Inspector's Report, November, 1976. <br />3. Liquor Fund Report, July - September, 1976. <br />1t. Approval of Licenses <br />A. Sales of Christmas Trees <br />#361 Bertel I. Gimmestad <br />B & J Midway Florist <br />1871 W. Larpenteur Avenue <br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota 55113 <br />5. General disbursements in the amount of $10,459.05. <br />6. Liquor disbursements in the amount of $13,321.80. <br />7. General payroll in the amount of $3,765.62. <br />8. Liquor payroll in the amount of $1,921.18. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted <br />"nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra made a motion to rescind the motion of November 23, MOTION TO RE- <br />1976, pertaining to snow fences. Councilman Labalestra stated he felt that SCIND ACTION <br />possibly some exceptions might be made, permitting homeowners with property ON SNOW <br />located near large open fields to erect snow fences. Motion died for lack FENCES (NO <br />of a second. SECOND) <br />Mayor Warkentien presented certificates of appreciation to 5 members of the CERTIFICATES <br />Bicentennial Committee. The members who were present were Donald Grittner, OF APPRECIA- <br />Michael Heffron, Mary McGuire, Harold Sundstrom and Lawrence McDonald. CEN~ ~ <br />COMMITTEE <br />
