NTINUTES <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL r~ETING <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA ,,~% <br />FEBN.UARY 28, 1977 ~ ~ ~~_ <br />1 <br />1 <br />A special meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor U,tarkentien at 7:35 p.m. <br />Mayor titiTarkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra. Also PRESENT <br />present were Clerk-Administrator 3arnes, Attorney Skor and Engineer Lemberg. <br />None. <br />ABSENT <br />Councilman Steele moved and it was seconded by Councilman Labalestra to APPROVAL OF <br />approve, as written, the minutes of Februar~r 9, 1977. Upon a vote being MINUTES OF <br />taken the following voted "aye": iv;ayor Warkentien, Councilmen 31ack, FEB. 9, 1977 <br />Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted "nay": Ncne. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Steele moved and it was seconded by Councilman Ecklund to <br />approve the items on the Consent Agenda as follows: <br />1. Basic Field Incident Report, No. 8. <br />2. Falcon Heights Company Fire Reports, Nos. 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. <br />3. Ramsey County Sheriff's Report, January, 1977. <br />!~. Yellen and Associates Year End Report, 1976. <br />5. General payroll (2/1-15/77) in the amount of $3,561.55. <br />6. Liquor payroll (2/1-15/77) in the amount of $1,817.16. <br />7. General payroll (2/16-28/77) in the amount of $3,886.b5. <br />8. General disbursements in the amount of $23,t~1~8.16. <br />9. Liquor disbursements in the amount of $13,532.71. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye" : 2~iayor t°arkentien, <br />Councilmen 31ack, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted <br />"nay": N.~ne. Motion carried. <br />APPROVAL OF <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />I~~ayor Warkentien read a complaint from A. C. Hodson of the University of PARKING COM- <br />Minnesota in regard to a traffic hazzard on Larpenteur Avenue. Mr. Hodson PLAINT ON SOUTH <br />stated that cars parked on the south side of Larpenteur, west of the in- SIDE OF LARPEN- <br />tersection of Gortner, obscure the vision of drivers attempting to turn TEUR AT GORTNER <br />right on to Larpenteur Avenue off of Gortner Avenue. RESOLUTION 77-7 <br />Mayor Larkentien moved and it was seconded by Councilman Ecklund to adopt <br />Resolution 77-7 to the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners requesting no <br />parking anytime on the south side of Larpenteur beginning at Gortner <br />Street and extending 200' westerly. Upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and <br />Labalestra and the following voted "nay": None.
