L~ <br />1 <br />1 <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 28, 1977 ~~ <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra. PRESENT <br />Also present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg <br />and Attorney Kenefick. <br />None. ABSENT <br />Moved by Cor:,ncilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Blaek to APPROVAL OF <br />approve the iteans on the Consent Agenda as follows: CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Falcon Heights Company Fire Reports, Nos. 33 and 34. <br />2. Ramsey County Sheriff's Report, March, 1977. <br />3. General payroll (li/16-30/77) in the amount of $3,925.62. <br />!~. Liquor payroll (ta/1b-30/77) in the amount of $1,816.55. <br />5. General disburaeunents in the amount of $1l~,Ot~6.36. <br />6. Liquor disburseanents in the amount of $9,l~6l~.36. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor War- <br />kentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra a,nd <br />the Following voted "nay": None. Motion Carried. <br />James L. Brown, 19l~8 W. Roselawn Avenue appeared before Council <br />to request the City consider amending Ordinance 151, Sec. 3.3 <br />to include animals if on a leash and if droppings are pf.cked <br />up. Council concurred they are satisfied with the ordinance <br />as it now reads. Council feels that dogs should not be allowed <br />in parks and if the ordinance were changed to include the pro- <br />visions as Mr. Brown suggested, most people are not conscien- <br />cious enough to clean up after their dogs. 9here was no action <br />taken on the itean. <br />REQUEST TO CHANGE <br />DOG ORDINANCE TO <br />ALLOW DOGS IN <br />PARK S <br />Mr. David Anderson, 1512 W. Idaho Avenue appeared before Council PETITION FOR <br />with a petition signed by residents on Idaho Avenue between CURB AND <br />Arona and Pascal Avenue. The petition was in regard to the in- GUTTER ON IDAHO <br />stallation of curb and gutter on that portion of Idaho Avenue. AVENUE <br />The tabulation shoed 11~ residents for the proposed pro3ect, <br />3 against and l undecided. <br />Councilman Steele moved and it was seconded by Councilman La- <br />balestra to hold a public hearing in regard to the proposed <br />curb and gutter improvement of Idaho Avenue from Hamline Ave- <br />nue to Snelling Avenue at 8:OO p.m. on May 2b, 1977. Upon a <br />vote being taken the following voted "aye"s Mayor Warkentien, <br />Co»*+~ Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the f o1- <br />lowing voted "arm": None. Motion carried. <br />
