MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 22, 1977 1 2 <br />A regular council meeting of the City of Falcon Heights <br />was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p. m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele PRESENT <br />and Labalestra. Also present were Clerk Administrator <br />Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Kenefick. <br />None. ABSENT <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman CONSENT <br />Black to approve the consent agenda as follows: AGENDA <br />1. Fire and Rescue Reports, 114, 115 and ll6 <br />2. General disbursements in the amount of $38,480.66 <br />3. Liquor disbursements in the amount of $25,606.44 <br />4. General Payroll - ls~ half-Dec. $3,862.77 <br />5. Liquor Payroll - 1st half -Dec. $1,806.25 <br />6. Licenses: <br />MASTER GAS INSTALLER LICENSE <br />Northeast Sheet Metal, Inc #339 <br />4347 Central Avenue N.E. <br />Minneapolis, Mn (NEW) <br />GENERAL CORPORATE LICENSE <br />RUBBISH HAULER <br />Vincen L. Humphrey #441 <br />Humphreys Rubbish Removal <br />970 Central Avenue <br />St. Paul, Minn (re-newal) <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />James and Mark Rutzick appeared to discuss their <br />conditional use application to operate an amuse- <br />ment center at 1544 W. Larpenteur, zoned B-2. He <br />furnished council with photographs of the present <br />business he is operating at Maryland near Johnson <br />Parkway in St. Paul, Mr. Rutzick explained the <br />amusement center would consist of foozeball and <br />pinball machines. <br />CONDITIONAL <br />USE/VARIANCE <br />1544 LARPENTEUR <br />Mayor Warkentien asked what ~r.ampted them to consider <br />Falcon Heights? Mr. Rutzick said the location of <br />Snelling and Larpenteur. Councilman Labalestra asked <br />why he hadn't come before. James Rutzick informed council <br />that Milton Cohen's realtor had called them and said <br />space was available at the above address as Mr. Cohen <br />had called earlier informing him the pool hall would <br />be available soon. <br />
