~`~ <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNE9DTA <br />DECEMBER 1lt, 19 72 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Village Council was called to order by Mayor <br />Warkentien at 7 :1~0 P .M . <br />PRESENT : <br />ABSENT <br />Minutes <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, and <br />Councilwoman Stocker. Also present were Clerk-Administrator <br />Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Kenefick. <br />None. <br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Stone, to <br />app rove the minutes of the meeting of November 20, 1972, as <br />corrected. Motion carried. <br />Variance Request; Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, to <br />Universal Signs: refer the variance request by Universal Signs for the National <br />,~nrplus Store, 15111 W. Larpenteur Avenue, to the Falcon <br />Heights Planning Commission. Motion carried. <br />Corporate Licenses; Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Stone, to <br />Hermes Floral Co.: grant a corporate license to Hermes Floral Company, to sell <br />Christmas tress for the 1972-1973 season. Motion carried. <br />United Church of Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, <br />Christ: to grant a corporate license to the Falcon Heights United <br />Church of Christ, to sell Christmas trees for the 1972-1973 <br />season. Motion carried. <br />Teen Group Insurance: Councilwoman Stoeker moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, <br />to include the Falcon Heights Teen Group, as an approved <br />part of the Falcon Heights Recreation program. Motion <br />carried. <br />Patak Plumbing & Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to <br />Heating -Master Gas approve the application for a Master Gas Installer License <br />& Plumbing License: and Plumbing permit for Patak Plumbing and Heating Inc., <br />968 S. Lake Street, Forest Lake. Motion carried. <br />Insurance Awards: The Clerk-Ac~ninistrator presented the tabulation of Insurance <br />bids which were received in response to the request for bids <br />and specifications forwarded to fourteen insurance agencies <br />on November 28, 1972.! Th bids were for the following lines <br />of insurance: Automobile, covering the fire trucks and <br />maintenance track; Comprehensive Generayl Liability; _a <br />Workmen's Compensation; Liquor Liability (all on a one year <br />basis); and Fire, covering the Village Hall and Liquor Store, <br />written on a three year contract. Effective dates on all: <br />January 1, 1973. <br />The Paul J. Breher Company, 625 Stryker Avenue, was low <br />bidder as follows: <br />Automobile - Home Insurance $966.00 <br />Com. General Liability - Home Insurance $22.00 <br />Workmen's Comp. - Home Insurance 1,1.10.00 <br /> <br />
