MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING 2 FALCON HEIGHTS, rTINNESOTA APRIL ll, 197I~ A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 P.M. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele, PRESENT and Councilwoman Stocker. Also present were Clerk-Ad- ministrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Kenefick. None. ABSENT Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, MINUTES to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of March 28, 1971, as written. Motion carried. Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, GEPdERAL CORPORATE LICENSE to approve General Corporate License 27b, to Steven's 276 ISSUED TO STEVEN'S Landscaping, Box 297, Hugo, Minnesota, for tree trimming, LANDSCAPING FOR TREE license to exbire June 30, 197l~. Motion carried. TRIMMING Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, NON-INTOXICATING MALT to approve the "On-Sale" Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor LIQUOR LICENSES License renewal, for Fred C. O'Neil, Block ~5, Building 151, Agriculture-Horticulture, State Fairgrounds, for the period of July 1, 1971.E through June 30, 1975. Motion unanimously carried. Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, to approve the new "On-Sale" Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor License, for Lawrence W. Breene, Block 50, Building 501, Hippodrome, State Fairgrounds, for the period of July 1, 197I~ through June 30, 1975. Motion unanimously carried. A brief discussion was held concerning the fee of the Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor Licenses. It was found that the fee for said license had been set in 1955 and that there had been no change in the fee since that time. 1 Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, that a review of all license fees be made and all changes incorporated before the adoption of the 1975 budget. Motion unanimously carried. Councilman Black read the letter from the City Attorney to the Clerk-Administrator stating his interpretation of the Uniform Building Code, relating to the instal- lation of standpipes in apartment buildings. This letter is on file in the Clerk's office. The Arden Hi11s Investment Compar~y which is constructing an apartment building at 1830 W. Larpenteur Avenue had requested that the Council waive the standpipe requirement. It was the Attorney's opinion that the Council could not waive the code, adopted by Ordinance, but that the Arden Hi11s Tnvestment Company should a ppeat to the State Building Inspector, and ask that ~he State waive REVIEW OF LICENSE FEES 1830 W.
