28 2 <br />MEETING OF JANUARY 23, 1969 <br />The regular meeting of January 23, 1969 was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the <br />following members present: T~iayor Vearkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilrr~en Black and <br />Stone. Also present were Attorney Seed, Engineer Lemberg and Treasurer Olsen. <br />Councilman Ecklund arrived later in the evening. <br />Minutes: Stone moved, Black seconded that the minutes of the Meeting of <br />September 19, 1968 be approved. Motion carried. <br />Black moved, Stone seconded that the minutes of the Special <br />~Ieetix~; of October 3, 1968 be approved. T~7otion carried. <br />Stone moved, Black seconded that the minutes of the meetixig of <br />October 10, 1968 be approved. T~Totion carried. <br />Black moved, Stone seconded that the minutes of the Sepcial T~Teeting <br />of October 17, 1968 be approved as corrected, NTotion carried. <br />Stone mo v-ed, Taylor seconded that the minutes of the Meeting <br />of Januargr 9, 1969 be approved as corrected. Motion carried. <br />Stone moved, Black seconded that the minutes of the Special <br />Pieetirg of January 16, 1969 be approved as written. Aioton carried. <br />Ttamsey County A question was raised as to the increase in the wage portion of <br />Sheriff Bill: the bill presented by the Ramsey County Sheriffs Office for the <br /> last quarter of 1968. Eckl~dnd wil7_ look into the matter. <br />Storm Sewer Project Letter of January 23, 1969 from Village of Roseville was read to <br />with the Village Gouncil. Their offer for the Storm Seger Project in the vicinity <br />of Roseville: of RoselaUm and Tatum was X350 per lot for approximately ~.0 lots. <br /> The Engineer advised the Council to accept this offer as he felt <br /> that this would be the only war to service that particular area with <br /> a sewer system. It does not include Summer Street but a line could <br /> be run to that street. The Engineer also stated that ii; was a fair <br /> and equitable amount based on the sues of the lots. He estimated <br /> an additional X3,500 to bring the line in. The Village of Roseville <br /> would like to know the Councils feelings by the 27th of January <br /> so they can award the bid. <br />The T•Zayor moved adoption of the follo~ring~ resolution: <br />Tr:'HEREAS, a preliminary report has been prepared by Bonestroo, <br />Rosene, Anderlik 8c Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, with <br />respect to a proposed. storm sewer system to serve a part of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights and to be constructed by the Village of <br />Roseville, and <br />jv'HET~AS, said engineers have advised the Council that the <br />aforesaid improvement is feasible and should best be made in <br />accordance faith the report, and <br />ti•7F-iEP~EAS, the Village Council deems it necessary and expedient <br />that the Village of Falcon Heights finance the construction of the <br />a$resaid improvement by the Village of Roseville in accordance with <br />the rg~ort, <br />NOti-J, THERr~'F, 'OI~E, BE IT RESOLVED by the ViJ_lage Council of the <br />Village of .Falcon Heights, T•v.nnesota: <br />
