2923 MEETING OF OCTOBER 23, 1969 The regular meeting of October 23, 1969 was called to order at 7s00 P.M. with the follcnring meanbers presents Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilmen Stone, Black and Ecklund. Engineer Lemberg arrived at 7sls, Treasurer Olsen at ?s35 and Attorne~* Seed at 8 :l~0 P .M. Minutes Stone moved that the minutes of October 9, 1969 be ap- proved as corrected. Warkentien seconded and motion carried. 1 1 Sewer Back-up at Mr. Eder. Muggenberg, 1543 West Iowa Avenue, appeared at lsls3 West Iowa: Council meeting to discuss having sewer back-up on at least four occasions. He has paid $15.00 plmabing fees and would like to be reimbursed. Stone moved that the Village reimburse Mr. Muggenberg and it was seconded by Ecklund. Motion carried. Mr. Alvin Lewis, Mr. Lewis complained about water z~uml3.ng down into his 1997 Autumn Avenues property from the corner of Autumn and Roselawn. Hi.s problem will. be discussed further by the Village Engin- eer and Council members. Mr. Lewis does not like to ob3ect but he explained that the idea of a fence that ne3.ghbor Mr. Richard Bandon of 1975 Autumn Av~ue wants to install. around his (proposed) above ground swimming pool would obstract his view and also detract from the value of his propertyL Council manbers will meet on Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M. on October 25, to discuss this further. .Mrs. Marie Horton, Warkentien moved that the Council reduce the amount of 1!422 West Towa Avenue, assessment cost frcuu $217.90 to $208.73, a difference Reduce Sidewalk of $9.17 which is for sodding Mrs. Horton took care of Assessment: herself. Seconded by Black and motion carr3.ed. Tennis Courts at Falcon Black moved that the Village Clerk be authorised to Heights Elementary direct a letter to School District 623, attention Mr. Schools Ray Bing, in regards to plans for a tennis court to be constructed by the Falcon Heights Vil.].age on FaAcon Heights Elementary School property, 1oe~ated at 1393 Cfarden Avenue. The letter will be suban3.tted to the Board of Education for final. approval. Warkentien sec- onded and motion carried. Fire Reports Eck3.und read fire reports Nos. 808 and 809. Aerial Photo Warkentiea moved that the Village maintenance man be Map Frames authorised to make a frame with glass for the aerial photo map. Stone seconded and motion carr3.ed. Dr. C. Cfustav Harris Tt was requested we have Dr. Hard appear for consultation at November 13, 1969 Council meeting.
