2923 <br />MEETING OF OCTOBER 23, 1969 <br />The regular meeting of October 23, 1969 was called to order at 7s00 P.M. with the <br />follcnring meanbers presents Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilmen Stone, Black <br />and Ecklund. Engineer Lemberg arrived at 7sls, Treasurer Olsen at ?s35 and Attorne~* <br />Seed at 8 :l~0 P .M. <br />Minutes Stone moved that the minutes of October 9, 1969 be ap- <br />proved as corrected. Warkentien seconded and motion <br />carried. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Sewer Back-up at Mr. Eder. Muggenberg, 1543 West Iowa Avenue, appeared at <br />lsls3 West Iowa: Council meeting to discuss having sewer back-up on at <br />least four occasions. He has paid $15.00 plmabing fees <br />and would like to be reimbursed. Stone moved that the <br />Village reimburse Mr. Muggenberg and it was seconded by <br />Ecklund. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Alvin Lewis, Mr. Lewis complained about water z~uml3.ng down into his <br />1997 Autumn Avenues property from the corner of Autumn and Roselawn. Hi.s <br />problem will. be discussed further by the Village Engin- <br />eer and Council members. <br />Mr. Lewis does not like to ob3ect but he explained that <br />the idea of a fence that ne3.ghbor Mr. Richard Bandon of <br />1975 Autumn Av~ue wants to install. around his (proposed) <br />above ground swimming pool would obstract his view and <br />also detract from the value of his propertyL Council <br />manbers will meet on Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M. on <br />October 25, to discuss this further. <br />.Mrs. Marie Horton, Warkentien moved that the Council reduce the amount of <br />1!422 West Towa Avenue, assessment cost frcuu $217.90 to $208.73, a difference <br />Reduce Sidewalk of $9.17 which is for sodding Mrs. Horton took care of <br />Assessment: herself. Seconded by Black and motion carr3.ed. <br />Tennis Courts at Falcon Black moved that the Village Clerk be authorised to <br />Heights Elementary direct a letter to School District 623, attention Mr. <br />Schools Ray Bing, in regards to plans for a tennis court to be <br />constructed by the Falcon Heights Vil.].age on FaAcon <br />Heights Elementary School property, 1oe~ated at 1393 <br />Cfarden Avenue. The letter will be suban3.tted to the <br />Board of Education for final. approval. Warkentien sec- <br />onded and motion carried. <br />Fire Reports Eck3.und read fire reports Nos. 808 and 809. <br />Aerial Photo Warkentiea moved that the Village maintenance man be <br />Map Frames authorised to make a frame with glass for the aerial <br />photo map. Stone seconded and motion carr3.ed. <br />Dr. C. Cfustav Harris Tt was requested we have Dr. Hard appear for consultation <br />at November 13, 1969 Council meeting. <br />
