2930 <br />MEETING OF NOVIIKBF~t 26, 1969 <br />The regular meeting of November 26, 1969 was called to order at 7:05 P.M. with the <br />fo7.iowing members present: Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilmen Black, Ecklund <br />and Stone. Engineer Lemberg arrived at 7:15, Attorney Seed at 7:l~0, and Treasurer <br />Olsen at 8:05 P.M. <br />Minutes: Ecklund moved that the mirnxtes of the November 13, 1969 <br />meeting be approved as corrected. Stone seconded and <br />motion carried. <br />Supervisors for The following four bays appeared at the Council meeting <br />Skating Rinks: to have their applications fbr employment to supervise <br />at the Falcon Heights skating rinks approved, atui also <br />to discuss their duties and responsibilities. <br />Daniel Emerson George Vavoulis <br />Robert Ke113.n Michael Be313n <br />Lauderdale Falcon He~.ghts Mrs. Thomas Mc4ot~gh of Falcon Heights, Mr. Donald Peterson, <br />Little North Star Hockey: and Mr. Pahl Phillips of Lauderdale appeared to discuss <br />Little League Hockey for Lauderdale-Falcon Heights. Their <br />teams will be as follows: Pon~r-age - 8-9-10 year olds, <br />Peewees - 11-12 year olds, and Bazrtams - 13-14-15 year <br />olds. Warkentiea~ moved the Village appropriate $x.00 to <br />be paid to a ~oiYrt board to be established by the Village <br />of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale for the purpose of opera- <br />ting a 3oint winter hocke~g y~ear®e-tion program. Ecklund <br />seconded and motion carried. Attorney Seed was authorized <br />to meet with meanbers to draft the point agreeanemt. <br />Plowing R3.nks: Stone moved that the Village enter into an agreement with <br />Mr. Ken Moore to plow sne:w from the rinks and the Vil.l.age <br />parking lot for the 1969-1970 winter season. The charge <br />for man and equipment is to be $9.50 per hour, and an <br />amount not to exceed $70 far standby service. Warkentien <br />seconded and motion carried. <br />Water Rates Letter: Taylor read a letter fraan Mr. Ernest J. Romero, Research <br />Assistant, Ramseur County League of Manicipalities. Taylor <br />moved that we authorise Engineer to represent the Village <br />of Falcon Heights on the Ramsey County League's Water <br />Rates Com:a3.ttee. Warkemtien seconded and motion carried. <br />Latter was written to Mr. Ernest J. Romero confirming our <br />authorization of Engineer Lemberg. <br />Tree Preu~ing Contract: Stone moved that the proposal submitted by Dr. Gustav Hard, <br />Village Horticultui3st, be approved by the Council to go <br />ahead with tree pruning, tr.Ltraning and repairing or reanoval <br />where needed. The cost of the entire work program wi11 be <br />$689. Warkentiem seconded and motion carried. <br />Fire Reports Ecklund read Fire Report No. 810. <br />
