2270 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF JULY 28, 1965 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7x00 P.M. with the following members present. <br />Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Trustees Stone, Black and Warkentien. Also <br />present were Treasurer Olsen and Consulting Engineer Lemberg. <br />Moved by Black, seconded by Stone that the minutes of the meeting of June 30, <br />1965 be approved. Carried. <br />Variance application Black moved, seconded by Warkentien that the following <br />E. ~. Holes resolution be adopted. <br />17?1 North Fry: <br />WHEREAS, Everett Holes has made an application <br />for variance from zoning ordinance to construct a <br />garage ahead of the house without being attached to <br />the house, and <br />WHEREAS, the matter has been referred to the <br />Planning Commission of the Village of Falcon Heights, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended <br />that said application be granted, provided the applicant <br />obtains the approval of the property owners within 340 <br />feet of his property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village <br />Council grants the variance application made by <br />Everett Holes to construct a garage at 1771 North Fry <br />Street detached from the house as per drawing submitted <br />and on file in the Clerk's Office, at a distance of not <br />less than 52 feet from the front property line. <br />Upon a vote being taken thereupon, the foregoing <br />resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Licenses Warkentien moved, Stone seconded that the following <br />Master Plumber be granted a license. Ayes All. Nayss <br />None. Motion carried. <br />Master Plumbers <br />Bi11 Schafhauser - 1199 Albemarle, St. Paul <br />Stone moved, seconded by Strandquist that the fo11o9ring <br />Sewer Installer be granted a license. Ayes: A11. <br />Nayss None. Motion carried. <br />Suer Installers <br />Charles Omar League - 887 E. Orange, St. Paul <br />Stone moved, Black seconded that the following be <br />granted license to sell at retail, cigarettes, cigarette <br />paper and cigarette wrappers. Ayes: All. Nays None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Cigarettes: <br />Mrs. C.D. Junk3n - Box 51~, Glen Lake, Minnesota <br />Minnesota State Fair Grounds - grand stand <br />Squae3 car accident: The squad car, driven by Oren Harmer, police office <br />was involved in a collision on July 15, 1965. <br />Standard 031 Stations Strandquist moved, Warkentien seconded that Garnet <br />
