2279 <br />SPEC?.~L MEETING OF AUGUST 18, 1965 <br />(Public Hearing Continued <br />Storm Sewer Imp. 65 1) <br />The special meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M, with the following members <br />present, Acting Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Strandquist, Trustees Black and Stone. <br />Absents Mayor Nilsen. Also present were Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Galvin. <br />Robert Sander, fiscal agent from Juran and Moody was also present. <br />Application for Application for rezoning certain property has been <br />Rezoning submitted, along with the fee of X35.00 by A, A. <br />A. A, Bilski Bilski, 1705 North Cleveland Avenues. Attorney John <br />1705 North Clevelands Daubney presented his views. Tt appears that George <br />Nelson, 1689 North Cleveland is not in favor of <br />rezoning at this time. <br />Black moved, Stone seconded that application for <br />rezoning submitted by A, A, Bilski for the property <br />located at 1705 North Cleveland Avenue be referred to <br />the Planning Commission for consideration and <br />recommendation. Ayes: All. Nays None. Motion <br />carried, <br />Embers Cafe Black moved, Stone seconded that 'No Parking' signs <br />1700 North Snelling be placed on both sides of the service lane on the <br />~ NO Parkingt signss east side of Snelling Avenue from Crawford to <br /> Larpenteur Avenue. Placing of these signs shall be <br /> subject to approval. of the State Highway Department, <br /> Ayes: All. Nayss None. Motion.. carried. <br />Water Main Improvement <br />of 1963 - Sinking Funds Warkentien introduced the following resolution and <br />'- moved its adoption: <br />Call of Certain <br />Bonds WHEREI~S, the Village of Falcon Heights had surplus <br /> funds from the 1963 Sanitary Sewer and Water Main <br /> Improvement.sinking fund, and <br /> 1NHEREAS, by resolution adopted November !t, 196l~ <br /> said funds had been invested in U. S. Treasury bills <br /> to mature September 30, 1965, and <br />V~HEREAS, certain of the bonds of said issue are <br />curr®ntly outstanding and subject to call, <br />NOS, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village <br />Council of the Village of Falcon Heights <br />1. Those certain bonds of said issue maturing <br />October 1, 1983 and numbered 168 to 180 inclusive are <br />hereby called for redemptions being 13 in total number, <br />2. The Village Clerk is authorized to make payment <br />from the WaterMain Improvement of 1963 Sinking Fund in <br />the amount of X13,390.00 to the American National Bank. <br />3. That notice of this call and redemption shall be <br />trans~i.tted by the Clerk to the Village fiscal agent for <br />appropriate action. <br />
