287 <br />MELTING OF DECEMBER 21, 1966 <br />The meeting was called to order at g:00 P.M. with the following members <br />present: Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Councilmen Stone, Warkentien <br />and Black. Also present were Attorney Kyle, Engineer Lemberg, Roy P'. <br />Klatt and Dr. Gus Hard. <br />Roll was called by Clerk Strandquist. <br />The purpose of the meeting was to consider sub- <br />division of two pieces of property: <br />Klatt Subdivision: 1. The request of Roy P. Klatt, .Administrator of <br />the Estate of Conrad R. Klatt, Deceased, for sub- <br />division and platting of the following described <br />real estate pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance <br />69: The North 2 of the West 16 acres of the East <br />24 acres of the NE 2 of the SW 4 of Section 15, <br />Township 29 N, Range 23 W, except K1att~s Addition <br />and subject to Roselawn Avenue and Ruggles Street; <br />and the West 99 feet of the North z of the East g <br />acres of the NE 4 of the SW 4 of Section 15, T 29 N, <br />R 23 W, subject to Roselawn Avenue and Ruggles Street. <br />Councilman Black moved that the application concern- <br />ing the estate of .Conrad R. Klatt for subdivision of <br />the property be granted conditioned upon dedication <br />of a 10 foot strip of the south side of Roselawn to <br />Ramsey County, and also conditioned upon the dedica- <br />tion of sufficient property to the public for Shel- <br />don Street, and with the condition that utility ease- <br />ments be granted as indicated on the final plat <br />submitted by the divider to Ramsey County for possible <br />street widening purposes. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Warkentien <br />and unanimously carried. <br />Pothen Subdivision: 2. The request of Nicholas Pothen, Jr. for sub- <br />di-vision of an existing tract of land by metes and <br />bounds description, pursuant to the provisions of <br />O'r•dinance No. 69, said land being described as fol- <br />lows: That Part of the North 2 of the East g acres <br />of the East 2L,, acres of the NE 4 of the SW 4 of <br />Section 5, Township 29, Range 23, lying westerly of <br />Hamline Avenue. <br />Councilman Black moved to approve the application <br />of Nicholas Pothen, Jr. for permission to subdivide <br />the property described above. Said subdivision shall <br />consist of permission to convey by metes and bounds <br />description the following described portion of the <br />property above described: The Westerly 99 feet of <br />the North Half of the East (N 2 of the E) Eight (g) <br />acres of the East 21~, acres of the Northeast Quarter <br />of the Southwest Quarter (NE 4 of SW 4) of Section <br />15, Township 29, Range 23. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Stone and <br />unanimously carried. <br />
