2585 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF JULY 13, 1967 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7=00 P.M. with the following members <br />presents Acting Mayor Warkenti.en, Clerk S trandquist, Councilmen Black <br />and Stone. Absent: Mayor Nilsen. ,Also present were Treasurer Olsen, <br />Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Ryle. <br />Minutess Stone moved seconded by Black that the minutes of <br />the meeting of June 22, 1967 be approved. Ayes: A]1. <br />Nayss None. Motion was carried. _ „ <br />1 <br />1 <br />Correspondence <br />Ramsey County Letter under date of July 5, 1967 from Frank Paskewitz, <br />Historical Chairman of the School. House Committee of the Ramsey <br />Societys County Historical Society stated the school house project <br />has been completed. Appreciation was expressed to council <br />for cooperation given. <br />Juran and Moody Letter under date of June 26 addressed to Mayor Nilsen <br />Municipal Bonds concerned inclusion o.f the tax levy for the 1966_Northeast <br />N.E. Storm Sewer Area Storm Sewer Project financing on the over-all tax <br />Project 66-1t levy chart._ <br />Project 67-1 Copy of letter from County Auditor to County Engineer <br />N.E. Sanitary tinder date of July 10, 1967.,, advised that Board of County <br />Serer and Engineers approved construction of water and serer <br />Water Mains extensions in the rights of way of county roads, <br />Letter from Lyle H. Smith, acting director Minnesota <br />Pollution Control. Agency under date of June 30 acknowledged <br />receipt of_plans and specifications for.sexerage facilities <br />in this village. In that agencyss opinion, the plans are <br />satisfactory and will be submitted to the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency with recommendation that approval <br />and permit for construction be granted. <br />Metropolitan Letter from County Auditor addressed to Mayor Nilsen <br />Transit concerned meeting of chief executives of all. municipalities <br />Gommissi.ons to elect three nominees for position of Commissioner to <br />represent Ramsey County orr newly created., Metropolitan <br />Transit Commission. <br />Maurice A. Rice Letter dated July 5, 1967 from Maurice A. Rice, stated <br />Complaint there is an unsightly accumulation of rubbish, ®ld bed <br />Regarding springs, etc. next to the row of garages at the rear of <br />Accumulation of 1510 West Larpenteur Avenue. Request was made that <br />Rubbish: owners be notified to,clean this accumulation and also <br />. keep the general area and buildings clean. <br />Ramsey County Letter dated June 23, 1967 from County Auditor enclosed <br />Directory 1967s copies of the .1967 Ramsey County Directory of County, City, <br />_ Village, Torn and School District.Officers. <br />
